A recent breast cancer open golf scramble held at Inverallochy Golf Club, has raised almost £3,000 for the breast centre in Aberdeen.

Local woman Joy Heron presented a cheque for £2,730 to breast care nurse, Carol Reid, from the breast centre, following the successful event.

Commenting on the scrambl’es success Joy said: I would like to thank everyone who handed in raffles, bought raffles and played on the day.

“The money raised has gone to a great charity.”
