This Christmas Aberdeen Foyer and The Reaching Out Project have been tasked with bringing Christmas to every home in Fraserburgh.

For the past six weeks the groups have been busy taking orders for ‘Giving Trees’ which are now in the local community.

If you would like to bring a smile to a child’s face this Christmas please take a tag from a tree in one of the many shops around town and return the gift to The Stevenson Centre on Victoria Street. Trees are available from The Baby Boutique, The Christian Book Shop, The Barber shop on Hanover Street, Kid’s corner, Tesco, The Mace on West Road, Garden’s Pharmacy, Toymaster and S & J’s.

John Smyth from Aberdeen Foyer said:“This year we aim to engage with the parents of the children by inviting the parents along to gift wrapping open day’s where they can choose the gifts they feel their kids will love thus giving parents input into their child’s Christmas.

“The aim of the Project is to make sure every child and vulnerable adult has a present to open this Christmas, no child should wake up on Christmas Morning without a gift to open.”
