In their latest outing, Fraserburgh Hillwalking Club descended the Cruachan horseshoe, having climbed Ben Cruachan and Stob Daimh in Argyll.

Sixteen club members spent last weekend at the SYHA Lodge in the picturesque setting of Oban on the West Coast.

Others members climbed a nearby Munro Beinn a’Chochuill, while some took the ferry over to Mull to climb Ben More.

Another group had a low-level circuit walk around the island of Kerrera, just off Oban.

Anyone wanting further information about the club and its walks - which suit all ages and fitness levels - should contact Alex Smith on 01346 514686.
