Home-Start launches Cosy Corner

The first 'Cosy Corner' meeting at the Hub in Fraserburgh.

Local families met for the first ‘Cosy Corner’ session with Home-Start members Melinda and Sarah on January 30 to enjoy fun, friendship, stories and song.

Cosy Corner meets every Friday from 10am to 12noon in the large meeting room at the Hub, High Street, Fraserburgh, and parents with children up to two years old are very
welcome.

Funding from Foundation Scotland and a generous donation from Johnston and Carmichael plus local fund-raising enabled Home-Start to purchase equipment for the Cosy Corner. Students from North-East Scotland College very kindly fund-raised to buy paint and stencils and then transformed the large meeting room to create a friendly and inviting atmosphere for the families who come along.

For further details on the Cosy Corner, contact Melinda or Melanie at the Home-Start office on 01346 518930.
