Host of events to be held at Broch Library

A host of events is to be held at Fraserburgh Library over the coming weeks.

The Library is hosting a Bookbug Story and Rhymetime session from 10.30am to 11am on Saturday, March 29, where youngster will get the chance to make a Mother’s Day card. The session is aimed at 0 to 4 years and all children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Fraserburgh Knit and Natter Group is taking place at the Library on Wednesday, April 2. Visitors can go along for knitting, crochet, sewing - for enjoyment, charity or to share ideas and skills.

The Knit and Natter Group will meet again on Wednesday, April 9.

The Library is hosting a family history drop in session from 10am to 12.30pm on Thursday, April 3. The opening morning will help visitors with their family tree.

Spring Craft sessions are also to be held at the Library. The first of these is on Wednesday, April 9, from 1.30pm to 2.30pm and the second is on Saturday, April 12, from 10am to 11am. Both sessions are aimed at primary school age children and the entry cost is £2.50. Places should be booked.

Running until April 21, the Library is taking part in a Spring Picture Competition as part of ‘Spring into Libraries’. Children are invited to draw or make a spring picture and prizes will be awarded for the best entries. Completed entries should be handed into the Library by Monday, April 21.
