Dozens of children took to Fraserburgh beach on a wet and windy Saturday morning for a fun run organised by Fraserburgh JogScotland.

In total 84 children ran the 2k route with all who participated finishing in great times and good spirits.

Commenting, Jacqueline Murison, one of the helpers said: “It was a great turnout for type of day and everyone enjoyed it.

“All the children who took part were given a medal and refreshments when they finished with the winners from each section also receiving a trophy which was presented by Susan Wilson, one of last years Fraserburgh JogScotland’s achievers of the year.

“Fraserburgh JogScotland would like to thank everyone who helped organise the event and helped out on the day including the Beach Cafe for allowing us to use their facilities for our registration process.”
