Ladies have shown they have what it takes at Fraserburgh running club.

Even though there were only six ladies running out of the 21 runners, three finished in the top four places during a recent running club event.

Best run came from Maureen Garden coming in first with Billy McFarlane who had a PB coming in second not far behind. David Abernethy, who also had a PB, came in third placing him 15 points clear at the top of the league. Carol Massie is getting back to her best form and came in fourth.

Best run for the men came from Stephen Milne who had the best scratch time. Stephen is the only runner who is now challenging David for the top spot in the league. Jayne Watt, Allan Watt and Andy Higgins had their best runs of the season all achieving PBs.
