74-year-old man charged with breach of peace

A 74-year-old Mintlaw man has pleaded guilty to two charges of breach of the peace and will be sentenced later this year.

Norman Thom, of Baluss Place, faces four charges of breach of the peace in all in connection with charges he asked lone women to get in his car.

Thom plead guilty to two of the charges which occurred on January 22 and february 21 of this year on Moray road and Argyll Road in Fraserburgh.

The case was adjourned until September 4 to allow for a Community Assessment Report to be carried out.
