Church members and school pupils in Fraserburgh observed and took part in the ‘World Day of Prayer’ recently.

This year’s annual World Day of Prayer service was held in the Fraserburgh Old Parish Church. The service was written by the Christian women of France, “I was a stranger and you welcomed me”. Organisers said it was gratifying to see such a large turnout at the service.

Services were conducted by pupils of St. Andrews School. North School and Lochpots School. They were attended by committee members and friends. Organisers would like to thank all the pupils, head teachers and teachers concerned.

Shortened services were conducted at various homes for the elderly conducted by committee members to which they were made very welcome.

The organisers would like to say thank you to everyone who helped at this year’s service at Fraserburgh Old Parish Church.
