Course places still available
at Banff and Buchan College

Places are still available on a number of courses at Macduff Learning Centre, part of Banff and Buchan College.

The “Social Stratification – it’s all about sex” course looks at inequalities in power and privilege and offers two and half hours of stimulating discussion and debate every week.

The Centre is also running the Elementary Food Hygiene course, which started on February 6, which upon successful completion awards the REHISS qualification required for anyone who works in the food industry.

If you wish to acquire or refresh your financial skills, the College offers the HN Unit Using Financial Accounting Software (SAGE). This is designed for individuals who wish to use a commercial accounting software package and who are required to prepare accounting reports for a small business.

Jennifer Fordyce, Community Development Manager says: “Places are still available on these courses that are starting soon. Come and talk to us for more information – some of the courses are ILA eligible.”
