Exciting new shows for Kinnaird Radio

Kinnaird Radio is to revamp its Sunday evenings this autumn.

It's been a few years since the station had a hit show, "The Sanctuary" hosted by Errol Water on Sunday evenings and James G hopes to bring the youth of today back to their local community radio station.

Next month will see the launch of two new shows which aim to develop a whole new level of radio interactivity with the locals and wider UK listeners. On August 18, James G ended BeatBox & Clubbers Guide after almost six years on-air.

However, he will return with the ambition to go further than just a radio show with a new brand - "Revolution" branded as "Fraserburgh's Hottest Experience". The show will feature music from any year, any genre but with a major twist.

James G told us: "Revolution will be aimed towards people between 12-34 years of age and will feature stunning mixes containing today's best hits and yesterdays loved hits. It's a unique experience for a radio show and it will set a solid platform to develop into a brand that will be available on Kinnaird Radio, Online & soon – it'll be coming to your nights out!"

James G also told of ambitious plans to go into the entertainment industry in early 2011 and to take the brand to private functions and offer the best overall entertainment package available in the local area.

We can also reveal that a brand new presenter will follow on from Revolution and bring the music high to its eventual comedown, playing "Music for the Masses".

Relaxation Station fronted by Paul Alexander will gear its format towards 24-54 year olds.

Both shows will be linked together, giving listeners a greater line-up for a Sunday night. Paul hopes to captivate some of our worldwide listeners with the country format and plans to offer competitions and interacting with listeners as Revolution will do.
