FFC donate £480 to Macmillan

FRASERBURGH FC chairman Finlay Noble and team captain Russell McBride recently presented a cheque for £480 to Shelly Scott of 'We Are Macmillan Cancer Support'.

The cheque covers the 5 donations from all sales of shirts last season.

This brings the total raised from Fraserburgh FC so far to just over 1,500.

This includes the fines the players imposed on themselves last season for turning up late, silly bookings etc and also the collection tins that are located in the Sponsors Lounge and Boardroom.

Finlay told the Herald: "We are delighted to support such a worthy cause and hope to continue the partnership for many years to come.

"It is an honour to have the Macmillan Logo on the front of our shirts and hopefully by doing so can raise the awareness a little more."
