Fire on New Year’s Day

A house fire has caused damage to a property in Fraserburgh.

The blaze occurred at a house on Gallowhill Road on New Year’s Day. Grampian Police and Grampian Fire and Rescue attended the incident.

Grampian Police confirmed they received a call at just after 8pm on January 1 in relation to the fire. They also confirmed there were no injuries and the incident was non-suspicious. They were contacted by Grampian Fire and Rescue who were already at the scene when they arrived. Despite attempts by the Fraserburgh Herald, no-one from Grampian Fire and Rescue was available for comment.

The Scottish Ambulance Service said they were unaware of the incident.
