First Minister comes to town

First Minister Alex Salmond will come to Fraserburgh next month to officially open Banff and Buchan College following its most recent renovation.

Banff and Buchan College has underwent a multi-million pound redevelopment that has seen the North East campus take on a new, modern look for the latest generation of bright, local minds.

The £23 million operation at Fraserburgh has meant that students can look forward to a host of new features at Banff and Buchan College, including the creation of a brighter, more welcoming main entrance to the campus, a new library, cafe and refectory, and six new classrooms.

First Minister Alex Salmond will formally open the campus on March 2, from 10:30am.
