Fraserburgh Rotary needs your support

FRASERBURGH Rotary Club are currently fundraising to help flood victims in Pakistan.

The money raised will go towards the purchase of "lifestraws", which are microfilters to convert foul water into clean drinking water.

The "lifestraws" are urgently needed to help the victims of the floods in Pakistan, especially children who are most at risk of diarrhoea and water borne diseases.

On Sunday, September 12, the Rotary Club is holding the annual fundraising golf competition from which the funds will go to purchasing more "lifestraws" to help the plight of the flood victims.

A "lifestraw" will be demonstrated at the golf club on Sunday and will be available for anyone to try out.

Donations can be sent to Anne Brodie Allan, Airdlin Farmhouse, Ythanbank, Ellon, AB41 7TY or if to the golf club it should be made out to Fraserburgh Rotary Club.

The club wishes to thank those individuals and traders who have already given generously.
