Fraserburgh heroin addict jailed for six months

A Fraserburgh man has been jailed for six months for supplying heroin.

David Strachan was handed the sentence at Peterhead Sheriff Court this week after officers discovered a quantity of drugs with an estimated street value of 20,000 underneath his bed at his home in 29 Scalloway Park.

Strachan admitted the charge.

Mr Strachan is said to have allowed his flat to be used as a hiding place for the drugs after two Liverpool dealers approached him. His payment for selling the drugs was to use some for his own use.
