Police treat death as unexplained

A visible police presence was at West Road from the early hours of Monday,
July 30.

Grampian Police told the Fraserburgh Herald on Tuesday that they are presently making enquires into the sudden death of a female.

The police spokesperson said to the Fraserburgh Herald this week:
“Grampian Police can
confirm they are making enquiries into the sudden death of a
26-year-old female.

“The woman was taken to ARI (Aberdeen Royal Infirmary) after an
ambulance was called to a house in West Road, Fraserburgh, in the early hours of Monday,
July 30.

“The female later died at ARI.

“The death is currently being treated as unexplained.”

They added that a report will be sent to the
Prosecutor Fiscal in due course.
