Early morning Fraserburgh traffic had to be re-routed in the early hours of Tuesday, July 3, following a road collision involving two vehicles.

Both Kirk Brae and Shore Street were closed off as debris had to be cleared from the scene of the accident.

It is understood that one of the vehicles involved had overturned after hitting a wall. The persons involved in the collision were believed to be ‘walking wounded’ after the incident.

A spokesperson for the Scottish Ambulance Service said that they had received the call before 1am on Tuesday, and that two people were taken to Aberdeen, while one person was treated locally.
