Fraserburgh and district councillor Charles Buchan has appealed to community councillors to spot areas of the health service in need of help.

The SNP councillors was speaking at last Tuesday’s meeting of the group when he revealed that there is help available for services which may not be presently covered.

He said: “As part of the Fraserburgh regeneration, there is an element of it set aside for health.

“I just wonder if, at some future date, the committee might want to discuss any bottlenecks because there are resources to be used.”

The community council agreed.

The group will meet next month for their annual general meeting, when post holders will be elected. Presently, Ronnie McNab is the group’s chair.

Mary Melville is the group’s vice chair with John Lovegrove acting as treasurer, and George Esslemont as the group’s secretary.

The AGM of the Fraserburgh Community Council will take place on May 20 at the Council Chambers, begging at 7pm.
