The 2014 Scottish Engineering Apprentice Craft Competition was held at the EKGTA (East Kilbride Group Training Association) training centre last week.

This competition, sponsored by the IMechE and Score Group plc, brings together competitors from colleges and training centres throughout Scotland for a one-day competition.

Competitors from Peterhead Engineers Development Ltd, Tullos Training Ltd and North East Scotland College competed. Conrad Ritchie, on behalf of sponsors Score Group plc, said “We are delighted to continue our support of this competition which is one of very few events where apprentices’ skills and knowledge are tested in a competition format. Score Group has a proud history in the craft competition and we know it is also valued by other engineering employers, colleges and training centres around the country”.
