Lovers of craft beverages are in for a treat next April when North Hop returns to Aberdeen.
The popular festival specialising in showcasing the very best that Scotland has to offer in craft beverages including beer, gin and cider will return to the Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre (AECC) over the Easter weekend, April 14 and 15.
The two-day festival offers the chance to meet the brewers, discover new and exciting products from across Scotland, whilst soaking up the festival atmosphere with live music.
This will be the second year that AECC has hosted the event, which last year welcomed 3000 festival-goers eager to enjoy the wide offering from exhibitors including Aberdeen’s very own Porters Gin, The Bay Chip Shop, formally the number one chip shop in the UK, Fresh Mex and BrewDog.
With 30 exhibitors, the event had tripled in size from the previous year which was held at Aberdeen’s Lemon Tree and the 2017 is shaping up to be the largest event yet.
The festival has since put Scotland firmly on the craft beer map through a series of events across Scotland including Inverness, Aviemore, Glasgow and Edinburgh.
Senior Sales Manager at AECC, Anna Mackenzie said, ““The love for craft food and drink in Aberdeen is growing so much thanks to events like North Hop and the amazing breweries and distilleries in the area. Aberdonians are rightly proud of the fantastic food and drink that is produced locally and we are sure they will turn out in their numbers and make North Hop 2016 another huge success.”
Tickets are now on sale from www.ticketmaster.co.uk/AECC or by calling 08444 77 9000.
