Organisers of the annual Baby Show competition at this Peterhead Scottish Week have hailed the event as a huge success.
A total of 50 babies were entered into the competition, with proud parents, grandparents, carers and friends teaming into the main hall at the Palace Hotel in Peterhead to take part.
There were six judges who walked around the hall to meet the dozens of beautiful entrants. The judges were Leanne Riddell, Claire Young, Jackie Bruce, Helen Brown, Mhairi Duncan and Ashleigh Daniel.
Entrants were divided into a number of categories according to age, with first, second and third place winners from each category. There was also prizes for the trendiest baby, baby bright eyes and the baby with the bonniest smile.
But the coveted overall winner prize went to Millie Buchan from the 9-12 months category, who attended the competition with her dad, Marc Buchan.
Commenting, organiser Caroline Weir said: “The baby show is always a success and it’s always well-attended.
“We’re delighted to see such a great turnout again this year.”
