The current Moderator of the Church of Scotland, Reverend Lorna Hood, is visiting the North-east this November.
To mark the occasion, a series of musical events have been organised, one of which will take place in Fraserburgh this coming Sunday.
Taking place in the Fraserburgh West Church on Sunday, November 3, doors will open at 7:30pm for a question and answer session with Rev. Hood, Dr Eilidh Whiteford MP, Right Rev. Bob Gillies of the Episcopal Church of Aberdeen and Orkney, and Dr Will Tuladhur-Douglas, a lecturer of Religious Studies at Aberdeen University.
Following this, Thursday’s Child, minister of the Fraserburgh West and Rathen West Parish Churches Carol Anne Parker and former Fraserburgh United Reformed Church minister Stephen Brown, will perform. Their contemporary, acoustic music is intended for those unafraid to ask searching questions of life and for those may feel they have far to go for faith or personal peace.
All are welcome to attend.
