The annual Ne’erday walk has taken place at Invercairn with the Flute Band leading the event.

The traditional parade enjoyed a good turnout, with organisers and a local councillor hailing the event a success.

Commenting, Councillor Charles Buchan said: “It’s absolutely great that the villages are keeping up these traditions. It’s this sort of thing that holds communities together and makes them special.

“I was glad to see there was a decent turnout and things went well.”
