A Fraserburgh pub has won acclaim for the quality and standards of their establishment’s toilets - for the second year running.

The Saltoun Inn has been awarded a platinum star rating at the Loo of the Year Awards 2016 - the highest award possible.

Sharon Thompson, manager of the Saltoun Inn, said: “I am delighted with the award.

“Staff at the pub ensure the toilets are in first-class condition at all times and it is great that this has been recognised by the inspectors.”

Mike Bone, managing director of the Loo of the Year Awards 2016, said: “The toilets at The Saltoun Inn have been designed and fitted out to a very high standard and are both clean and well maintained.”
