Rally: One Voice for the kids rally will be held in Aberdeen next week.

Fraserburgh-based One Voice for the Kids is holding a rally in Aberdeen this Sunday to speak out against child abuse.

The rally will take place at the Duthie Park from 10am until 4pm with founder Sam Edwards calling for everyone to come out in support against child abuse.

“Everyone is welcome to attend this rally. Victim’, survivors, friends, families, children and supporter organisations, anyone who is against child abuse is most welcome,” he said.

“We are encouraging members of the public to take the stand and speak out and share their experiences. Like minded organisations are encouraged to speak out oat the rally.”

One Voice for the |Kids was launched in March last year to challenge the Government on how paedophiles and child abusers are sentenced and to educate the public in how the effects of child abuse irrevocably changes the lives of the victims, their family and friends.

One Voice has recently forged major alliances with other like-minded groups to potentially create the UK’s first network of child-related organisations. For more details you can log onto their website on www.onevoiceforthekids.org.uk
