Peek-A-Boo nursery in Fraserburgh has raised a phenominal £2,532 for local charities during two recent fundraising events.

Lynn Noble from Peek a Boo told the Herald: “We held two events to raise the funds.

“A baking sale which parents/grandparents and other family members generously baked for and bought baking.

“Then we held a sponsored ‘Nature Trail’ at Strichen Community Park, which more than 200 children, parents and grandparents attended.”

Peek-a-Boo nursery caters for pre-school children between the age of two and five and has at present a roll of around 85 children.

Commenting on the success of the fundraising events Lynn said: “We are delighted with this year’s fundraising effort by parents, children and staff at Peek-a-Boo Nursery.

“We have raised the grand total of £2,532.34 which has been divided as follows; £1,141.17 to the ‘Willows Animal Sanctuary’ near New Pitsligo, £1,191.17 to ‘Olivia Downie’ and £200 to Strichen Community Park.”
