Have you got the perfect pooch or the cutest cat?
If so, then get down to Fraserburgh Leisure Centre on Sunday, August 21, when Fraserburgh Cats Protection will be holding its annual pet show.
Entry to the competition starts at 12.30pm for cats and small animals with judging commencing at 1pm prompt. Dogs can be entered from 2.30pm with judging commencing at 3pm.
With new categories for 2011 including a talent contest for dogs and a trophy for the cat or kitten with the most beautiful eyes there is sure to be something suitable for all.
A full list of classes is available from New Deer Vets, Buchan Vets, Mintlaw Vets, Fraserburgh Pet Shops, Deejays, Lighthouse Museum or at the door on the way in. It will also be published in next week’s Herald.
This year there is also the opportunity to have your photograph taken with the new Cats Protection mascot which will be at the pet show for its first official outing, in addition to the usual sales tables, bottle stall and raffle with excellent prizes.
Raising more than £700 last year the annual pet show is one of the main fundraising activities of Fraserburgh Cat Protection League.
Entry fees are payable at the door, dogs and cats: £2 and all other animals: £1, subsequent classes are charged at 50p.
