Fraserburgh Cat Protection League were overwhelmed with entrants across all categories at the annual pet show on Sunday, raising over £600 for league funds.

Speaking to the Herald, Margaret Strachan said: “We were absolutely delighted with the amount of entries and the support provided during the event.

“We are always looking for volunteers to help, there are numerous roles within the organisation affording the opportunity for individuals to develop skills while making a difference.

“At the moment we have numerous cats and kittens looking for new homes, they have all been vacinated and micro chipped however to help with the cost of this we do ask for a donation of £30.

“All cats and kittens must be neutered and vouchers are available for this purpose.”
