Police prevent potential tragedy

Grampian Police were able to
prevent a potential tragedy at
Fraserburgh Harbour last week after a woman was spotted
dangerously close to the
breakwater.

Fraserburgh’s lifeboat was called to the scene in a preventative capacity, should the woman have entered
the water, to assist police
officers.

Grampian Police said they were called to the incident at around
11:05am on July 24, and the coastguard
was alerted.

Grampian Police officers were,
however, able to talk the woman away from the
area without incident.
