Banff & Buchan Conservatives have selected Bob Sim to be their Candidate for the Fraserburgh and District Ward in the Local Council Elections to be held on 3rd May 2012.

Bob previously served as a Councillor for the Fraserburgh East Ward prior to Local Government reorganisation and is pleased to have been selected as a candidate again to represent the people of Fraserburgh and District.

Commenting Bob said: “I am proud to have lived and worked in or out of Fraserburgh all my life, proud of our north east culture and proud to say that I am Scottish in a United Kingdom.

“The Elections on 3rd May are not about Separation or a Referendum but are about the constituents in Ward 3.

“I have worked in Management and Consultancy in the local Fish Processing Industry, the Hospitality Training Board and served as a member of the Community Care Team based in Fraserburgh.

“I also served on the Board of Management at Banff and Buchan College and am still involved in Aberdeenshire Children’s Panel Advisory Committee. I was also Chairman of Fraserburgh/Bressuire Twinning Association for many years.

“I am committed to representing everyone within the ward and will work tirelessly to put the interests and needs of the people first – whatever their politics.”
