Project Scotland are looking for volunteers in the Fraserburgh and Peterhead areas.
It is looking for people aged between 16 and 25, to undertake work in their local communitty during the summer over the holiday break for up to 30 hours per week.
Benefits, according to Project Scotland, include gaining vital experience of working with young people, the guidance of a dedicated line manager and the offer of a mentor to help you get the most out of your volunteering experience.
There is also £15 per week towards travelling expenses and the chance to apply for a National Entitlement Card getting a third off public transport.
Starting on August 8 until the beginning of September, the scehem will see volunteers helping to support team leaders to carry out youth group work.
A spokesman said: “You could be involved with things like working with a range of team participants including those who demonstrate challenging behaviours and those experiencing issues such as homelessness, offending, substance misuse or those who have literacy and numeracy problems.
“This is a great placement offering experience of working with young people, listening to them and finding ways to broaden their experiences and introduce them to new relationships and activities.
