Following completion of the drainage works at the Philorth bends Transport Scotland has been undertaking patching / resurfacing maintenance works on the A90 between Cortes and Fraserburgh.
Works were due to commence on Monday, January 14, and last for approximately six days, and be undertaken during the day between the hours of 8am and 5pm, Monday to Friday.
Traffic management consists of temporary traffic lights with a convoy system for the safety of workers on site.
The works include the patching of the existing carriageway and incorporate road safety works designed to reduce accidents on this section of carriageway. The estimated cost of these works is around £150,000.
These works are being undertaken by Breedon Aggregates Ltd and Euromark Ltd on behalf of BEAR Scotland.
