Rosehearty’s play park, which is a popular resource for children of the village just outside of Fraserburgh, has been hit by a recent space of vandalism.

The issue came to light last week when the pro-active Rosehearty Community Council appealed online for the vandalism to stop.

“Kids could not use the rope slide today as it was twisted by someone,” a posting on the community group’s Facebook page announced.

It continued: “Lots of litter lying about, too, despite their being three bins around it.

“C’mon, Rosehearty, let’s try and look after what we have got.”
