The annual Rosehearty Masons Walk was cut short this year due to bad weather.

The traditional parade, which took place on January 2, had to end early due to the poor weather conditions at the coastal village.

Over 100 local residents turned out for the event, which began at the village square.

The walk was led by the Fraserburgh Royal British Legion Pipe Band and a marshal, and also included a bible bearer, sword bearers and members dressed in Freemason traditional uniform.

Rosehearty residents turned out on the streets to support those taking part in the procession, however it ended after just under an hour due to the worsening conditions.
