Score Group will host its annual Apprenticeship Information Evening on Thursday, March 13 from 6-9pm.
The popular event allows prospective apprentices to find out more about the various types of apprenticeship offered by Score.
It also enables them to gain an understanding of the range of work activities a Score apprentice gets involved in.
At the event current Score apprentices, supervisors, managers and directors will provide information on the Score companies, the types of work undertaken by the company and on apprenticeships.
In 2013 Score Europe was named Large Employer of the Year by Skills Development Scotland in recognition of the company’s apprenticeship scheme.
In particular the company was praised for its commitment to promoting apprentices from within and providing opportunities for apprentices to develop successful careers on completion of their training.
A Score spokesman said “We continuously engage with prospective apprentices through our interaction with schools but the Information Evening provides an opportunity for those school or college leavers to bring along parents, grand-parents or whoever else is guiding them in their career choices.
“The evening is intended to give people a real insight into the company and the apprenticeship scheme so they can make an informed decision about which type of apprenticeship is right for them.”
“Last year we had over 150 people attend and the feedback we received was extremely positive.
“Choosing a career is a very important crossroads for a young person and being able to take some of their family members along to an event such as this helps them to make the right decision.”
