Fraserburgh Sea Cadets have taken part in a Royal Naval parade and inspection of their unit for its efficiency award.
The event, which takes place once every two years, showcases what the young people have learned over the last year.
Friends and family were in attendance at the unit to support the sea cadets as the parade and inspection got underway.
Also in attendance was Miriam Kemp, who is the new Sea Cadets chaplain.
Captain Peter Adams - a retired member of the Royal Navy - inspected the unit in his current role as Area Officer for Northern Area Sea Cadets.
In particular, Captain Adams commended the unit for the incredible amount of time the sea cadets had spent training in the water.
