Buchan Development Partnership held their Autumn Forum on Wednesday, September 10, at Maud Public Hall with over 60 people attending.
Stewart Chalmers, Bridge CVS, spoke of the support available for voluntary groups and Bill Spence, Shell UK Ltd, gave an update on the Carbon Capture and Storage project at Peterhead.
The evening also saw the third round of this year’s Shell Small Grants being awarded.
Bill Spence and Liz Scott, Development Officer with BDP, handed out the grants to the following groups: St Johns Art Group, St Combs Community Hall, Fit Games, Aden Community Allotments Association, Mintlaw Brownies and Mormond Thistle Football Club.
The next round is now open for applications, with a closing date of Friday, November 14.
