A St. Combs schoolgirl will have the logo she designed worn by a group of community volunteers as they help save lives in the North East.

Keira Drysdale will have her logo emblazoned on the uniforms and vehicles of the Broch Community First Responders after they ran a competition with local schools.

Ms Campbell, the Head Teacher of St Comb’s School, said: ““It is exciting to think that, very soon, Keira’s design will be seen across the North East as our Broch Community First Responders volunteers provide immediate help and support to those in need.”

Liz McArdle, of the Broch Community First Responders, said: “As a group we would like to thank all the children who designed a logo and the teachers that encouraged them.

“We look forward to displaying the badge and you will see us going about in the next few weeks.”
