A fun run which attracted hundreds of people proved the inspiration for one youngster to raise funds for Fraserburgh Heritage Centre to help secure the future of the award winning attraction.
Ten-years-old Taylor Maitland heard about the fun run and wanted to do something to contribute to raising funds for Fraserburgh Heritage Centre. Speaking to the Herald during the event, she said: “I wanted to do something to help raise funds and make sure the Heritage centre doesn’t close.
“I heard about the fun run and came up with the idea of a cake and candy stall before everyone set off. When the joggers return to the Centre I will also be playing the piano.”
People from as far afield as Aberdeen and Peterhead attended the event on Tuesday evening which was organised by Fraserburgh JogScotland to raise funds for the Heritage Centre.
