Two local church ministers are putting on concerts this weekend to raise life-saving funds for Africa.
Carol Anne Parker and Stephen Brown will be performing songs giving some room for reflection and some hope in the distress the dreadful drought that has afflicted East Africa has brought: propelling, as it has, 12 million people into severe threat of starvation.
Entry is by donation and all the proceeds will go to Save the Children to help save lives.
The concerts are Friday July 29 at Rathen West Parish Church, and Saturday July 30 at Fraserburgh West Parish Church. Both concerts start at 7.30pm.
