Youth council looking for more members

Fraserburgh youth council are aiming to become the voice of the young people in the Broch.

The council is currently looking for new members to come along to the community centre on Thursday’s at 3.30pm.

The group want to to get young peoples ideas and desires and work to make some of them a reality.

Matthew Noble, community learning worker told the Herald: “As we have representation on the Aberdeenshire Youth Council and Scottish Youth Parliament, we can take any major issue upwards and implement change on a wider stage.

“We are open to anyone between the ages of 12 and 18 and would ideally like to have representation from other youth groups in the Broch to join us.”
