Maud took the lead with their first attack inside the first minute when the in-form Bremner managed to find the net past the home Keeper Craig Carroll.

The same player had another chance which was straight at Carroll.

On 24 minutes the away side were awarded a penalty after Fraser was fouled in the box. Rae stepped up and sent the keeper the wrong way to double the Maud lead.

A few mins later it was 3-0

when a Duguid corner was fired into the top corner by Main.

A Duguid shot went narrowly

past the post.

On 42 minutes Maud went further ahead when a Barbour

shot took a slight deflection past the diving keeper.

Just on half time the home side were awarded a free kick on the edge of the Maud box. Forbes took the kick and passed it into the net past the defensive wall.

Fraser got a fifth after Barbour played him in on the right and his finish was clinical.

A Maud free kick fell to Simpson and the defender made no mistake netting Maud’s sixth goal.

Duguid finally got his goal after Fraser played a ball wide to Buchan whose cross was met by Duguid who had an easy finish.

This was a game that Maud controlled from start to finish and another all-round performance with everyone playing a part.

Maud’s next game is home on Saturday against East End in the Grill league Cup quarter-finals with a 2pm kick-off.
