New season - and new website

The new youth season is a matter of days away and some things never change.

But for the first time all of these have a new common denominator – the Youth Football Scotland website.

No matter what your need is; whether you are a player, coach, team official, parent or referee; you will find it in the same place – www.youthfootballscotland.co.uk – without paying a penny.

Still being sought are clubs and volunteers to play a pivotal role in proceedings. Clubs can sign up for free by contacting club relationship manager Brian McNally on brian@youthfootballscotland.co.uk or 0131 629-7903.

Volunteer opportunities are plentiful and varied, and give people the chance to give something back to youth sport, while boosting their own portfolio.

Recruitment Manager David Armstrong said: “We couldn’t exist without volunteers, and there are lots of different areas to get involved in.

“Whether you would like to try your hand at journalism, video production, photography or marketing, there is something for you. Aberdeenshire and the north east is one of the key places we’re currently driving.”

David can be contacted at recruitment@youthfootballscotland.co.uk or 0131 629-7903.

Whether you are a club, player, coach, parent or just interested spectator, YFS has something for everyone.
