Fraserburgh made it five home wins out of five in the Highland League as the odd goal in five handed them a cagey win over this season’s surprise package, Lossiemouth.

A Graham Johnston brace appeared to have the ‘Broch cruising towards three points at the break however a superb fight back from the Coasters took them level midway through the second half, and it required an Allan Hale spot-kick for the destination of the points to be settled in the end.

Lossie’s Bryan Bell’s late tackle on Mark Cowie controversly earned Fraserburgh the penalty which won the game, despite Cowie still getting his shot off, and, amidst protests from Lossie’ players, Hale calmly converted.
