Members of the Satorishido Kickboxing club achieved their Black Belts at the Satorishido headquarters in James Ramsay Park.

Sensei Albert Ross, 5th Dan, graded the kickboxers who were on the mats for over five hours.

In that time, they demonstrated their skills as detailed in the kickboxing syllabus. These included nine rounds of pad work, nine rounds of sparring and question and answers on certain teaching and class protocols.

Sensei Ross said that every one of the students showed a very high level of skill in their sport and he was very proud of them for the effort and expertise they showed on the day.

The six Satorishido kickboxing students are now recognised by the World Kickboxing Network (WKN) as Black Belts in the sport of full contact kickboxing.

Those graduating were: Gayle Milne, Jodie Kennedy, Eddie Schrader, Martin Young, Leon Bramason, and Claire Youngson (pictured).
