Bellslea on strong form against Pana

IN THE Deejays Nightclub League, Panasonic Tavern had Bellslea as visitors and the away side took the lead with a great free kick by Christopher Mackie from the edge of the box.

McKenzie Geddes drew Panasonic level just before half time. The game turned after Bellslea were awarded a penalty which Scott Falkener converted.

Bellslea finished the game the stronger team and went on to score two more goals through Arron Gall and Jamie Buchan to win by 4-1.

St Combs had home advantage over Clinton Thistle and it was a close run game which St Combs won by 4-3. The home side were 2-0 down at half time, came back to 2-1 then went 3-1 down, then the fight back begun. After getting back to 2-1 substitute Stewart Whyte drew St Combs level with his first touch on the park. Neil Taylor won all three points when scoring near the end.

John Bruce scored St Combs first two goals and for Clinton were a brace from Simon Whyte and one from Michael Slater.

Rosehearty Thistle were up against Cheers FC and it was another close game with the home side winning by the odd goal in seven with Andrew Norris scoring a brace and one apiece from Ian King and Ryan Whyte and for Cheers was Kevin Mair, Kevin Birnie and Billy Gauld.

Elizabethan Link Up had home advantage over Mormond Thistle and it was the home side that took all three points with a 5-1 win with Scott Duncan with a brace and one each from Lee Noble, Andy McKay and Keith Gammack and for Mormond was Neil Thompson.

St Drostans had Invercairn United in a league match which ended in the away side winning by 3-2 with the winning goals coming from Gilbert Paterson Jnr scoring two and one from Jamie Martin.

New Deer change places with Crimond at the bottom after they ran out winners by 3-1. After Crimond being one up at half time. New Deer fought back to score three second half goals through Michael Rhynd, Jimmy Ritchie and Andy Strachan to take all three points. Scoring for Crimond was Ian Buchan.
