Good conditions for 22 runners

EVEN though the temperature was just in the minus, as there was very little wind it was good conditions for the 22 runners.

It was the most competitive race for the season so far with the first 11 runners finishing within 50 seconds.

Alec Duthie had a good run coming in first.

For the second consecutive race, the best runs for the men came from Malcolm Sinclair and David Wilson, who both had P.Bs. Malcolm came second in the race increasing his lead at the top of the league.

Alison West had the best run for the ladies coming in third which was good enough to put her in second position in the league.

The following runners all had seasons best's Alison West, Jayne Watt, Alec Duthie, Robbie Youngson and Lisa Stephen.

Stuart Dickson and Elaine Whyte had the best scratch times.
