Kinnaird lose to West Aberdeenshire

KINNAIRD suffered a disappointing 7-3 defeat away to West Aberdeenshire in their latest Gray and Adams Grampian Super League match.

Ally Bruce continued his good start to the season and was once again Kinnaird top player as he opened the proceedings with a hard earned win, coming from two legs behind the win 3-2 with a 21.65 per dart average, Mike Forbes (20.23) and Graham Whyte (19.87). Both 3-2 winners were Kinnaird's only other successes. Whyte and John Youngson scored 180 maximums.

Kinnaird's next home match in the Elizabethan is against Inverurie on Sunday, November 16, will be sponsored by the West Road Mace Store.

Fraserburgh lead Ellon on sets difference at the top of the table being the only teams to have won their opening two matches.

Well done to Broch player david Wade who with a top average of 30.67 per dart is the Brewdog player of the month for October.

Shaun McDonald (Aberdeen A) continues to lead the individual averages on (31.66) from Jim Forbes (Ellon) on (28.36). Dave Ridpath (Fr) is flying high in third spot on (28.19) with Ally Bruce (KH) next on (27.28) followed by David Wade (Fr) on (27.23) other top local players are (8) - Derek Dennis (Fr) (26.61) (15), Alan Smith (Fr) (25.48) (16), Ian Peck (Fr) (25.44) and (20) Vernon Farquhar (Fr) (24.95).
