A MARTIAL Arts expert has decided to pass on some of his master moves in seminars in Fraserburgh.

Wojciech Adamusik has been involved in martial arts for many years and was taught by a student of Bruce Lee’s, Richard Bustillo who is a Grand Master.

Adamusik has also taught anti-terrorism and military courses in the past.

On January 28 and 29 he took his first seminar at 43 Main Street in the Broch which attracted around 15 adults to learn about martial arts.

Speaking to the Fraserburgh Herald via his translator Marta, Mr Adamusik said:

“I wanted to do something for the town and teach people about martial arts.

“The seminar that just took place was just for adults but I also wish to teach children about martial arts too. It’s a good way for children to stay off the streets and become involved in something productive in the community.

“I also will be providing classes for children with disabilities.”

Mr Adamusik will also be holding a summer camp in August which will be for adults and children. He hopes to prepare the students before a possible visit from Richard Bustillo the Grand Master.

Mr Adamusik continued: “As well as teaching martial arts I also will be holding self defence classes for women in Fraserburgh as feedback from the first seminar was that many women would like to learn about self defence.

“It is very important for women to feel safe in the town and self defence classes will also be taught during the summer camp in August.”

Anyone who would like to get involved or would like to make a donation can contact Marta on 07936906585.
